Iwona Pasińska


Iwona Pasińska is a choreographer, movement dramatist, theatre theorist, artistic director of Movements Factory and co-founder of the Movements Factory Foundation. She graduated from the F. Parnell Ballet School in Łódź. In 1997 Pasińska became the principal dancer of the Polish Dance Theatre (PTT) – Poznań Ballet. Since 2010 she has been collaborating as choreographer or movement dramaturge with dramatic theatres, operas and alternative theatres. She holds a degree in theatre theory from the A.Mickiewicz University in Poznań, where she also did her PhD, focusing on the experience of the body in contemporary theatre from the perspective of dance theatre. In 2016 she has become the Director of the Polish Dance Theatre.


Mohammad Hasani

Mohammad Hasani is from Hamedan a Part of Iran in West, He can Speak Both Persian and Turkish, and also he can speak in English too.

He started His work from Tehran(Iran Capital) in Iranian Youth Cinema Society.

After a year he has been accepted in Art university and studied in Cinema director course and participated in the workshops. 36th Fajr International film festival Talent Campus, Tehran international film festival, 11th Cinema verite

He directed his first professional film “Stencil” when he was 25 years old at the university which was accepted in several international and national Film festivals, And that was the beginning of his Career as a Filmmaker.


Marla Phelan, Tim Richardson

Marla Phelan, is an internationally recognized dancer and choreographer making her directorial debut with The Fell of Dark. Marla is a Juilliard School alumni, having danced for Gibney Company, Hofesh Shechter Company, Akram Khan, Azure Barton, Company XIV, Broadway’s Fiddler on the Roof and Punchdrunk, playing the protagonist Lady Macbeth in Sleep No More. Marla is the Associate Choreographer/ Director to Fiddler on the Roof’s National Tour and recent choreographic commissions include Gibney Company, Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance, Sacred Heart and 3AM Theater.. Marla’s work has premiered on network TV, SXSW Festival, Future Dance Festival, FringeARTS Festival, WestFest, Dixon Place, Gibney Dance, Edgerton Center, Jack Crystal Theater, Purchase College, KnJ Theater and publications V Magazine, Refinery29, Nowness, The NYTimes, and NYMagazine. Marla is the Simons Foundation & Gibney Open Interval Resident Artist, the SHU Dance Emerging Choreographic Fellow, Alpha Omega’s Studio to Stage Resident and a YoungARTS awardee. Marla is the Founder and Artistic Director of a creative initiative, Movement Museum, founded through Gibney’s Moving Toward Justice Fellowship. Marla creates work that portrays defiant female-identified characters at the threshold of transformation.


Sumi Xiaoméi Cheng

is a London-based dancer, choreographer, actress, performance-maker, and co-chair of Equity U.K.’s dance committee (trade union for performing arts and entertainment). Sumi Xiaoméi’s work has been included in top festivals, events, and institutions nationally and internationally: British Museum, Netflix, Siobhan Davies Studios, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, RiotGames, Dansens Hus Stockholm, Teatro do Bairro Alto Lisbon, and more. Daniel Gwirtzman

Praised for its entertaining flair, stylistic diversity, musicality, innovation and accessibility, Daniel’s choreography has been performed at venues throughout the U.s. and abroad. He has choreographed modern, musical theater, ballet, jazz and contemporary dances for his own and other companies and departments, including the Rochester City Ballet, North Carolina Dance Theater, Eisenhower Dance Ensemble, the University of Tulsa, the University of Michigan, the North Carolina School of the Arts, Virginia Commonwealth University, Fordham University/The Ailey School, Princeton University, New York University, Barnard College, Duke University, The University of the Arts, The Interlochen Center for the Arts, and the LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts. Encore, a theatrical show about putting on a show, has excited critics and audiences alike since its premiere in 2007 at Joyce SoHo in New York. An official selection of the 2009 New York Musical Theater Festival, Encore lives at the intersection of modern dance and the contemporary musical theater. In 2010, the DanceBreak Foundation, supporting “the next generation of great Broadway choreographers,” selected Daniel.


Evi-Sullivan Toyne

Evi-Sullivan Toyne is a young, queer dance artist exploring the complexities of neurodiversity, mental illness, and hidden disabilities through performance, choreography and film practices. They are interested in how the limitations of disability, can influence their practice as a dance artist and instead aid them in producing impactful and unique work.
Currently in professional dance training at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, Evi-Sullivan aims to begin building this platform of awareness despite their age. The youth of today have a lot to say, and are desperate to create a safer world to grow up in. Evi hopes that their work might be a small step towards understanding, and maybe even change.


Zsuzsanna Vass

Zsuzsanna Vass is an actress and choreographer based in Romania. She studied acting and did her MA in Contemporary Theatre. Her interest in movement, imageand collaborative creations led her working as a choreographer, assistant director in different stage works. NOISE is her first dance film.


Liam Cheng

Liam Chengis a dance-film and MV director, the founder of SSUNRISE STUDIO. He graduated from the Institute of Fashion & Communications Design, Shih Chien University, Taiwan with a Master of Design (M.D.).
